Jem: How are the the book sales going?
Truckle: Just back from my first book tour. Went to visit a mate in Helsinki for the weekend, the plan was to walk around reading it and laughing a lot.
Jem: Did it work?
Truckle: Not as such, was strolling down the street reading and chuckling as planned, slipped on a patch of ice and laid up for the weekend. On the plus side, sold one to my mate.
There was a steely determination in the eyes of those intrepid Reckers boarding the train at 11am on Friday morning. This time we were going to win. None of that out on the piss to all hours, oh no.
The problem with being a fan is that we don't make rational choices. It’s not our fault, it’s just that we come to any opinion or decision dragging along more baggage than a social influencer on holi
